PET for fresh recruitment conducted

Imphal, Sept 2: Amidst protest from the Manipur Police Constable (Male) 2013 batch appeared candidates, the state Home department today peacefully conducted the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for fresh candidates at Manipur Police Training Center Pangei.
According to source, results for the PET was declared today and almost all candidates appeared in the fresh recruitment test were declared cleared. 
Some of the volunteers of the Manipur Police Constable (Male) 2013 batch appeared candidates had tried to disrupt the fresh recruitment test, however large number of police personnel presents in the area foil the attempt to make any trouble .
Earlier, on August 30, 2 MLAs of BJP were arrested by the state police for trying to disrupt the fresh recruitment test at Pangei. They were later released unconditionally due to immense pressure from the center.
Meanwhile, hearing of the case filed by the 2013 batch Constable Appeared candidates was held today at Manipur High Court room number 2.
