Passenger vehicles stay off the road against Govt. order for one time tax

Imphal, May 8: Passenger vehicles of the state including Diesel Auto, Tata Magic, Mini Van etc. stayed off the road in protest against the State Transport Department’s order to pay one time tax. The passenger vehicles owners and drivers have been protesting the order of the transport saying that it would burden the taxi service provider as most of them are at present depending to bank loan and others to run their business.
