Imphal, May 8: Following the pressure from the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) and in consideration to the upcoming IMC election, the Congress Party leadership is left with no choice to consider the demand of the JCILPS. Source said leaders of the MPCC along with other office bearer convened an emergency meeting and convey the need for an urgent initiative to the demand of the JCILPS. Accordingly the Chief Minister had directed the party leadership to convene an all political party meeting. The source further said that as Congress being the ruling party, it has initiated all steps for organising a meeting of all political party at 9 am tomorrow.
