Imphal, March 22: Out of nine ministers, six are crorepatis, who was sworn in as ministers in the nine-member BJP-led coalition government, headed by Nongthombam Biren Singh. The average assets of nine ministers is Rs 1.26 crore, according to a report released by the state chapter of the Election Watch and Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) today.
ADR have analysed the self-sworn affidavits of all the nine Ministers including Chief Minister Biren Singh.
The minister with the highest declared total assets is Yumnam Joykumar from Uripok kendra Imphal West constituency with assets worth Rs 2.29 crore.The minister with the lowest declared total assets is Langpoklakpam Jayantakumar from Keishamthong  constituency with assets worth Rs 23.09 lakh.A total of seven ministers are graduates or have higher degrees while two ministers have educational qualification between 10th pass and 12th pass. A total of nine ministers have declared their age to be between 40-65 years. A total of the nine ministers have declared liabilities out of which the minister with the highest liabilities is Nongthombam Biren of Heingang constituency with Rs 47.97 lakh.There are no ministers who have declared criminal cases against themselves.
