Opposition and Ruling join hand in paying obituary to the departed former members of the Manipur Legislative Assembly

The 13th session of the Manipur Legislative Assembly today begins with members of the house irrespective of ruling or opposition political parties paying obituary to the departed former members of Lok Sabha, Manipur Legislative Assembly, and the Secretary. The obituary reference was moved by the speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Yumnam Khemchand.
The house unanimously resolved to expressed deep and profound sorrow to the demise of the former legislatures, parliamentarian, and the secretary of the State Assembly. A two minutes silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
Leaders of the house N Biren along with other members in the treasury bench and the opposition leaders Okram Ibobi and other members recalled on the scarifies spirit of the departed leaders for the welfare of the state Manipur . The members also recalled the sincere service of the former secretary of the Manipur legislative assembly Thangjam Megharaj.
Those members and former secretary of the Manipur Legislative Assembly who was paid obituary reference are – Paokai Haokip, former Member of Parliament (MP), Lok Sabha from Outer Manipur (ST), Laisom Lalit Singh, former Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from 12 -Keisamthong Assembly Constituency, Wangkheimayum Brajabidhu Singh, former Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from 17-Lamsang Assembly Constituency, Dr. Irengbam lbohanbi Singh, former Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from 25-Oinam Assembly Constituency, Thangjam Nandakishor Singh, former Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from 4 -Kshetrigao Assembly Constituency, Purul Shepu Henry Paotei, former Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from 47 -Karong (ST) Assembly Constituency, Vivek Raj Wangkhem, former Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from 4-Kshetrigao Assembly Constituency and Thangjam Megharaj Singh, former Secretary of the Manipur Legislative Assembly.
