Only 3 women candidates are likely to fight in the upcoming state election

Imphal, Feb 14: On the last day filing nomination papers for the upcoming Manipur state legislative Assembly election, only 4 women candidate are likely to fight the election.
BJP field one women candidates Nemcha Kipgen at Kangpokpi Assembly constituency while Congress Party provided a ticket to a woman candidate AK Mirabai of Patsoi Assembly constituency, who was a Minister in the state cabinet. NPP filed one woman candidate G Seityabati from Sagolband Assembly constituency while MNDF field Yumnam Romola at Keishamthong Assembly candidate.
