The Directorate for Welfare of OBC & SC, Government of Manipur, has invited online applications from persons belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) community of the State for Skill Development Training under the GIA Component of the PM-AJAY Scheme.
As per the notification issued by the Directorate, a total of 1,650 beneficiaries will be covered under various skill training programmes. The programmes include a three-month Residential Combine Certificate Course in Food & Beverage Service Associate and Guest Service Associate (Front Office) for 960 beneficiaries; a one-month Residential Training & Assistance programme for 360 Scheduled Caste women aged between 18 and 35 years in Bridal Fashion and Photographic Make-up Artistry; a one-month Non-Residential Training & Assistance programme for 120 women and SHGs belonging to SCs communities in Baking Technician; a six-month Residential Job-Oriented Training Programme on Machine Operator (Plastic Processing) for 30 beneficiaries; and one-month Non-Residential Training & Assistance programmes for 60 beneficiaries each in Assistant Electrician, Assistant Hair Dresser & Stylist, and Field Engineer trades.
Applications are to be submitted online through the web portal www.manipurobcsc.mn.gov.in. The applications will be screened at the district level through online mode and no offline forms will be issued or accepted. The last date for submission of online applications is March 10, 2026.
As per the eligibility criteria under the PM-AJAY Scheme, applicants must be above 18 years of age. Priority will be given to families or persons having an annual income not exceeding Rs. 2.50 lakhs. 30 percent of the beneficiaries in each trade will be earmarked for women candidates and 50 percent will be earmarked for Internally Displaced Persons from SC communities as per Government letter No. MISEC-2/1/2024-OBC& SC- OBC & SC, dated 30-08-2024.
