Troops of Red Shield Division apprehended one People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) cadre from general area Kangwai Churachandpur on 06 Sep 14. A PIB statement said, troops of Red Shield Division launched an operation on the nights of September 5 and September 6 after getting specific information regarding the presence of an active PREPAK cadre in general area Kangwai,. The party cordoned the suspected house and after thorough search, the party apprehended one PREPAK cadre at 3:15AM. The statement further added that the apprehended was a part of a fighting group of PREPAK and had participated in operations against the security forces earlier.
