Imphal, Dec 8: Dead body of a non local who married a Tangkhul girl and stay at Namlee Village in Ukhrul district was found murdered on the morning of December 5 inside a forest not far from the village along the Indo Myanmar border. According to report, the deceased identified as MD Manirund (aged 45) who hailed from West Bengal married a Tangkhul girl and stay at Namlee Village which is about 50 Km South East of Kasom Police Station,  since the past many years. Family member said he went out for hunting in the forest along with his SBBL gun and a dagger on December 14 morning at around 4 am but as he did not returned some villagers went to search him and found him dead at around 10am on the following day near Border Pillar Number 9 along the Indo-Myanmar border. Both the SBBL gun and the dagger were found missing. The condition at which he was found dead suggested that he was hit by a heavy object at his head. His dead body was later collected by a police team for post mortem and later handed over to family members.
