One day cyber security awareness program held

Imphal, April 22: One day cyber security awareness program and e-ways management system, jointly organised by National Institute of Electronic and Information Technology (NIEIT), Akapat, Imphal and Manipur Police Telecom Organisation (MPTO) at the office of Manipur Police Telecom Organisation at 1st Manipur Rifles was held today.
P Doungel, ADGP of Intelligence; Sh Dhijamani, DIG of Telecom of Manipur Police and Th Prameshwore Executive Director of NIEIT, Imphal attended the awareness program.
Speaking the awareness program, P Doungel expressed the significant of mobile phones and the use of internet in the life of people. The awareness program will somehow benefit the Manipur Police Department, he added.
P Doungel also expressed that there are different types of required equipment which are needed for the department that can easily track down when a mobile phone is missing, cyber crime related issues etc. including different types of software.
Officials of Manipur Police Telecom Organisation and National Institute of Electronic and Information Technology attended the awareness program.
