Under the aegis of the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Deafness (NPPCD), State Health Society, Manipur One Day Awareness Camp on Prevention and Control of Deafness was held today at Tekcham Mayai Leikai Community Hall in Thoubal District.
Dr. M.A. Satar, ENT Specialist, Shri Ch. Basanta Singh, District Programme Manager, NHM Thoubal and Dr. Lalitkumar Singh, MO in Charge, PHC Khongjom were on the dais.
The programme was attended by ASHAs, Anganwadi Workers, teachers and youth club members and older ages peoples.
Dr. M.A. Satar, ENT Specialist explained about the prevention n control of deafness to the general public.
