The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has strongly condemned the recent incident in which three individuals, claiming to be members of Arambai Tengol, forcibly took the car of the Lamkang Students’ Union (LSU) President at gunpoint on December 31, 2023, at around 11 am in the Kakching District of Manipur. In a statement of condemnation signed by
Medovi Rhi, President of NSF, and Chumben Khuvung, General Secretary of NSF, stated that such acts of violence and disregard for the well-being of citizens are completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
The incident, which occurred on December 31, involved three individuals forcefully taking the vehicle from its rightful owner, who is the President of the Lamkang Students’ Union in the Chandel district of Manipur. This brazen act not only endangered the victim’s life but also instilled fear and anxiety within society.
