While stating that NSCN/GPRN is not a mere civil organisation that can be steered at the whims of any Tom,Dick or Harry, the NSCN/GPRN has advised Wangtin to first cleanse himself from the blood stained legacy he bequeathed from his own father, uncles , cousins including his own village folks who massacred NSCN’s People’s Army personnel as late as 1980’s. In a press statement, the outfit said that more than half a century old legitimate Naga struggle for Sovereignty can never be dictated, misled or suppressed by any forces high or mighty including Government of India.
It said individual like Wangtin with documented anti-Naga and anti-NSCN history is but only expected to vociferously attack NSCN and Naga struggle at any given instance.
“NSCN/GPRN is also not bothered with whatever animosity Wangtin may have developed against Paresh Baruah, Wangtin’s mere limerick suggesting SS.Khaplang’s dictation by Barauh is only an instance of desperation at his pre-eminent expulsion by SS.Khaplang for his premediated conspiracy with the GOI to sabotage Naga struggle on the pretext of ceasefire extension”, the statement added. It further said that Wangting should self-contain and be content himself with the fact that he meekly succumbed to India’s Home Ministry’s threat to freeze his Rupees Three Crore bank account unless he promote India dictated ceasefire.
