State NPP, which is also a coalition partner of the BJP led Government in Manipur today observed 73rd Birth Anniversary of PA Sangma , who is the founder president of National Peoples Party (NPP) at its new office at Naoremthong in Uripok Assembly Constituency.
The state office of the NPP was earlier located at Sangaiprou Tiddim Road in Imphal West but shifted at Naoremthong and formally inaugurated today in connection with the observance of the birth anniversary of PA Sangma.
Floral tributes were paid to the portrait of the departed leader as a mark of respect to him.
Speaking on the occasion interim president of the state NPP Minister N Kyasii said that some people’s obstruction to the party’s activities will have no effect to the party. He said that the NPP will strengthen its party activities.
“The issue raise by the earlier office bearer will have no impact to the functioning of the party” Kyasii said.
NPP Legislator wing leader Y. Joykumar while speaking on the occasion said that the issue in the party have its root on the malpractice of the former office bearer and its attempt to appoint president from backdoor. He said everything is settled and the NPP will strengthen in the near future.
