Imphal Sept. 11: The two-day ‘North East Calling’ festival concluded at the India Gate Lawns in New Delhi, last evening. The purpose of the event was to promote the art, culture, heritage, cuisine, handicrafts, business and tourism of North East India. The event was organised by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region under its ‘Destination North East’ series of this year. Besides, other shows, stalls of various Union Ministries were erected to showcase the undertaken by them in the region. Stalls of the State Governments offering opportunities in their states were also exhibited
