Nomination for State Journalist Award 2016

Imphal, July 13: As done in the past years, this Directorate is conferring the Manipur State Journalist Awards, 2016 in 8 (eight) different categories, viz. Best Editor Award on National Integration & Communal Harmony,  Rural Reporting, Reporting on Public Health & Hygiene, Reporting with special reference to woman and children, Sports Reporting, Reporting on Art & Culture, Reporting on Science & Technology and Parliamentary Reporting.
Interested Journalist may submit copies of  Press/Video Clippings of news report/articles/ features, etc. that already  published in the related fields/categories during 2015, i.e. between 01.01.2015 to 31.12.2015 with 4 (four) sets each of Xerox copies/clippings along with the originals authenticated by the Editors. For Best Editor Award, clipping will be done by the department.  No Editor/Journalist shall be given an Award for 2 consecutive year and only 1 (one) Editor/Journalist shall be given an Award in one subject/category for a year.
Nominations are to be submitted to the undersigned on or before 5th September, 2016 and the awards will be given on 16th November, 2016 i,e. National Press Day.
