Th. Chaoba to campaign at Assam from March 22

Rumours about the postponement of the BJP National executive meeting scheduled to be held on March 19 has been prove wrong as Imphal Times has confirmed that there is no change in the date fixed for BJP National Executive meeting on March 19.
The matter has been confirmed after Imphal Times directly contacted National general secretary of BJP Kiran Rijiju who is also the Union Minister of State for Home today morning.
“There will be no change of date for the crucial meeting”, said Rijiju while talking to Imphal Times through Phone. Rijiju along with other BJP leaders from almost all states of North East India are now presently stationing at New Delhi to attend the most important meeting of the BJP.
The national executive meet may take up political resolutions on issues of nationalism and the party’s commitment to welfare measures for the poor, likely to be announced in the budget, said a BJP source from New Delhi.
Meanwhile, BJP Manipur Pradesh, President Th. Chaoba who had left for New Delhi on March 14 to attend the National Executive meeting has been assigned to start campaign at Assam from March 22, a source said. Before heading for Assam Chaoba will return back to Imphal on March 20.
Imphal Times had earlier reported that the central leadership of the BJP will announce the next president of the BJP Manipur Pradesh on or before March 20. Imphal Times in its report had also stated that Chaoba whose term has been over will be asked to continue the post for the next term as there is no alternative to him to strengthen the party in the next upcoming state assembly election scheduled on 2017.  It is not that there are no qualified contenders for the top post of the BJP Manipur Pradesh but it is the need for an experience politician that prompt the BJP central leadership to once more approve Th. Chaoba to continue the post.

The detractors of Shri Chaoba has become so shameless in spreading negative propaganda. These people have become a liability to the the party and hence they should be thrown out of the party for the best interest of the party.
