For over two decades no safe drinking water is available at Oinam Swaombung area of 22/12,13 Wangoi A/C, this was stated by general secretary of Oinam Sawombung Young Citizen Organization (O.S.Y.C.O) Kh. Sanjoy in a press statement.
It said that from 1992-93 to 2015 there had been so many promises made by politician at the time of election to provide safe drinking water and other development work at their area. On the other hand, there are so many MLAs and Ministers from Wangoi A/C, from late ex-chief minister, W. Nipamacha to at present seating MLA Oinam Lukhoi. However still there is no safe drinking water at the area.
They appeal to the concert MLA and development to provide the safe drinking water.
