There will not be any disturbance to the existing geographical and political boundary of Manipur as well any disturbance in the administrative set up of Manipur in future under the Indo-Naga peace accord. This was assured by central leadership to the nine members delegation of BJP Manipur Pradesh, led by Th. Chaoba Singh, State President.
This was informed in a press release by the delegation from New Delhi.The delegation met Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, National President of BJP, Amit Shah, Ramlal & Ram Madhav, National General
Secretaries of BJP , senior officials of Home Ministry. They held one & half hours long meeting with RN Ravi, interlocutor of Govt. of India on Indo-Naga Peace Talk at his office chamber, in Sansad Marg, New Delhi and submitted a memorandum to all concerned including the Prime Minister.
As demanded by the Manipur Pradesh BJP delegation, there will be a wide consultation with all stakeholders while terms and reference are being drafted in this regard . The State Government, representatives of prominent civil societies, organisation functioning in the State will be involved in the process of consultation.
The release also stated that all national leaders appealed to the people of Manipur to maintain calm and extend co-operation in making the consultation process purposeful.
The press release also stated that BJP Manipur Pradesh will leave no stone unturned in the endeavour to protect the sanctity of the territory and interests of Manipur.
