‘No alternative arrangement if Indo-Naga peace-talk finds a solution’

Imphal, June 19: If there is a settlement to the Indo-Naga peace talk then there will be no need for the alternative demand. This was stated by UNC president Gaidoun Kamei during first felicitation programme for class 10 and 12 meritorious students held at Tribal Research Institute (TRI) near MBC Church. The felicitation programme was organised by Kharam Students’ Union Manipur (KSUM) under the theme Coming together is beginning.
Speaking to the media persons at the sideline of the function, Gaidoun Kamei, President of United Naga Council (UNC) said that JAC Churachandpur and outer Manipur tribal forum will have a joint meeting for further steps to be taken up in the coming days as the 10 days economic blockade will end today midnight.
It is believed that a unique solution will be brought for the frame work agreement sign between the Government of India and NSCN(IM) as it is clear to all the people of the states, he added.
Gaidoun Kamei also said that all the ethnic community including Naga tribes will stand strong to protect their identity and their land before becoming endangered. Another alternative agreement for the Indo-Naga peace talk will not be need if the right solution wanted by the people of all the ethnic community comes to the point of settlement, he added.
Decision to be made between Home Ministry and the constitutional expert for the 2 bills among the 3 bills for the ILPS is against the ethnic community including Naga tribes, unexpected form of agitation would come out as all the ethnic community are ready to face it, Gaidoun Kamei asserted in his speech.
Joseph Hmar, President of ATSUM; R Samuel, President of KUM; Gaidoun Kamei, President of UNC was chaired as guest of honours, president and chief guest respectively.

UNC is anti-Manipur organization. How such organization use TRI at Imphal? Why Gaidon kamei is freely and openly move in Imphal Rongmei villages? Such devil should not be allowed to get a foot in Manipur like Th Muivah. Why Government of manipur still free Gaidon kamei?
