NMBA campaign spreads anti-drug message across Tipaimukh & Vangai Sub-Division

A series of awareness campaigns under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) was held across multiple villages in Tipaimukh & Vangai Range Sub-Division on Tuesday & Wednesday, as part of an initiative to curb substance abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
Organized by the District Administration of Pherzawl in collaboration with the District Health Society and the District Social Welfare Office, the campaign carried the message “Say No to Drugs and Yes to Life.”
Leading the initiative, Joel G. Haokip, ADC/DSWO of Pherzawl and Nodal Officer of NMBA, encouraged young people to focus on education and skill-building as alternatives to drug use. He also urged local leaders and communities to stand united in maintaining a drug-free environment.
Awareness sessions were conducted at Patpuihmun, Phulpui, Ngampabung, Thingkal, Kangreng and Parvachom villages. Participants included nurses, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and residents who collectively pledged to strengthen the fight against drugs.
