NEET-UG 2026 retest on June 21, Admit Cards from June 14

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the re-examination for NEET-UG 2026 will be conducted on June 21 following the cancellation of the earlier examination amid the paper leak controversy.
According to an official notification issued with the approval of the Government of India, admit cards for the re-examination will be released on June 14.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is also scheduled to brief the media regarding the upcoming examination at 10:30 am at 19 Teen Murti Marg, New Delhi.
The Education Minister stated that NEET examinations would be conducted in computer-based mode from next year onwards.
Meanwhile, Dharmendra Pradhan chaired a high-level meeting on Thursday night to review developments related to the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has also expanded its probe into the alleged leak and is examining the possible involvement of insiders linked to the NTA.
The announcement comes amid continuing uncertainty faced by lakhs of medical aspirants across the country after allegations of question paper leaks and examination irregularities surfaced earlier.
The controversy had triggered widespread concern over the credibility and security of one of India’s largest medical entrance examinations.
