Naga Hohos’ meet to discuss the Indo-Naga peace process

In the wake of the recent political development regarding the Frame Work Agreement signed between the government of India and the NSCN-IM, United Naga Council (UNC) is convening a meeting of the Naga Hohos of all Naga tribe on August 23 somewhere at Senapati district head Quarter.
A source said that the meeting will review the entire latest political development with special reference to the ongoing Indo-Naga peace process.
All the Naga Tribe Hohos under United Naga Council (UNC), All Naga Students’ Association Manipur (ANSAM), Naga Women’s Union (NWU), Naga People’s Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR) and its constituent unit leaders have been invited to attend the meeting.
Exact location of the meeting has not been known as of  now .
A source further tell Imphal Times that the meeting is likely to discuss in depth the ongoing protest from Imphal base civil society organisation which has been protesting the frame work agreement and urging the Manipur Government to convene special session to the issue.
