Amidst the unfolding events as India gears up for its largest democratic exercise, the Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF) expresses deep concern and sadness. In response, the MNRF issues a press release addressing the general public regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha Election, set to be conducted in seven phases across the nation.
The MNRF appeals passionately to responsible citizens, highlighting the detrimental impact of escalating violence on the electoral process’s integrity. The Front implores all stakeholders, including candidates, political parties, church bodies, civil society organizations, voters, and armed groups, to exercise restraint and refrain from violence during this critical phase of electoral campaigning.
Furthermore, the MNRF calls upon church leaders to utilize their platforms to advocate for candidate selection based on righteousness, integrity, and dedication. The Front cautions against succumbing to monetary inducements or gifts from candidates and political parties, urging voters to make informed, truthful decisions guided by their conscience and the principles of justice and righteousness.
