The Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF) celebrated its 16th Raising Day with a Thanksgiving ceremony at Emmanuel Training Centre (ETC) on Sunday.
According to a press release from the Information and Public Relation Cell of MNRF, the occasion was marked with warm greetings extended to all Nagas residing in Manipur. This day commemorates the inception of MNRF on March 3, 2008, with a mission to advocate for the political, economic, and spiritual liberation of the Nagas.
The Thanksgiving celebrations were graced by the presence of various Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Church leaders at Emmanuel Training Center, stated the release.
The leadership at the center expressed deep appreciation to the committed cadres for their unwavering dedication. They emphasized that this day serves as a moment of gratitude to the Naga community for their support throughout the military and political endeavors led by MNRF.
MNRF members, from all ranks, offered sincere thanks to the Almighty for His continuous care, protection, and providence that have sustained the organization. They acknowledged the sacrifices made by fallen heroes in the pursuit of Naga rights and ancestral territories.
MNRF reiterated its commitment to advocating for peaceful coexistence among all ethnic groups in Manipur and expressed fervent prayers for the restoration of peace and tranquility in the violence-affected state.
The anniversary was observed across all MNRF bases, with the Bethel Council headquarters presided over by the chairman, the Emmanuel Training Centre overseen by the General Secretary, and all tactical headquarters under the leadership of senior commanders.
