MLA Kongkham Robindro inaugurates YSWA Club building

Mayang Imphal Assembly Constituency MLA Kongkham Robindro today inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Youth Sports & Welfare Association (YSWA) Club at Chabung Company Awang Leikai under Mayang Imphal Assembly Constituency.
The inaugural function was attended by Kongkham Robindro as Chief Guest. YSWA Club President Yurembam Koireng Singh presided over the programme, while Ward No. 13 Councillor Thokchom Ito Singh and BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal President Irom Rabi Singh attended as Guests of Honour.
Addressing the gathering, Kongkham Robindro said that the government has been extending assistance to the public in view of the hardships faced over the past three years. However, he observed that further support is required, particularly for students pursuing their education. He urged students to open and maintain functional bank accounts to ensure smooth transfer of government benefits. He also stated that priority would continue to be given to Internally Displaced Persons affected by the ongoing crisis.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP Mayang Imphal Mandal President Irom Rabi Singh expressed hope that a cabinet minister from among the elected representatives would be inducted in the expected expansion of the government headed by Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh.
