Minister of Social Welfare and Co-operative, AK Mirabai Devi today inaugurated a market shed which is constructed at the premises of Young Progressive Club, Takyel.
The inaugural function which was organized by Community Hall Construction Committee, Takyel, was also attended by Dr. T. Thoiba Singh, president, Community Hall Construction Committee, Takyel and Ph. Dineshwor Luwang, Former Pradhan, Takyel GP as president and guest of honor respectively.
Speaking during the inaugural function, Minister AK Mirabai said that there is need to give co-operation between people and Government in order to make a state prosper. The government has lots of policy and programs for the development of the state. She added she is working hard to fill-up the shortcomings of the constituency by 2016 in consultation with the people of her constituency. She also said that she had improved power supply, water supply and education have up to 70% in her constituency. A well-adequate sports field will also be constructed shortly in her constituency.
