MI road disrupted as JAC continue agitation

Imphal, May 18: JAC formed against the brutal killing of Moirangthem Chaoba Singh continue agitation by blocking road at Shamurou area. The JAC has been demanding immediate punishment of those involved in the killing. He was found dead on May 15 from Nambul River at Shamurou area.
Police had so far picked up 5 suspect however, the identity of those arrested are still concealed as police are apprehensive of unwanted incident.
JAC members while talking to media persons saif that they will continue the agitation until the culprits are punished.
During the agitation supporters of the JAC today dismantle some vehicles for violating the blockade.
Convenor of the JAC S Sanahanbi Devi while talking to media person said that they will intensify the agitation if failed to fulfil the demand.
