Memorandum submitted to Governor highlighting key issues in Chandel District

A delegation of the Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT) led by its President B.D. Ningwar called on the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, today and submitted a memorandum outlining major grievances and developmental challenges faced by the people of Chandel District.
The memorandum drew attention to critical issues concerning education, healthcare, infrastructure, road connectivity, and youth welfare. The delegation also raised concerns over delayed scholarship disbursement, the need for preserving local language and culture, and the importance of improving administrative coordination to ensure efficient governance in the district.
ALT President B.D. Ningwar urged the Governor to intervene and facilitate necessary measures for addressing these longstanding issues, stressing that equitable development of Chandel is essential for achieving balanced progress across Manipur.
The Governor assured the delegation that the concerns raised would be taken up with the relevant authorities for appropriate action.
