The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Government of Manipur, has issued an official notification directing all media houses to ensure the wide dissemination of government information and directives across the state.
The memorandum, dated November 11, 2025, calls upon editors of local dailies and weeklies, press correspondents at both national and regional levels, and electronic media editors to publish the latest government instructions for public awareness. News editors of All India Radio (AIR) Imphal and Doordarshan Kendra (DDK) Imphal have also been requested to broadcast the notification to reach a broader audience.
According to the DIPR, the initiative seeks to enhance coordination between government departments and media organizations, ensuring timely, transparent, and accurate communication of official information to the public.
