Imphal, 28 Feb:
A Girls only Mega Moped rally was organized by Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur and All Manipur Women’s Voluntary Association(AMAWOVA) under the theme “ For Saving Manipuri People from Health Hazard Drugs”. The rally started from Kwakeithel and ended at Nambol. Various message and placards were displayed during the rally.
The rally was organized to create awareness among the youths of the state of the ill effects of Drug usage. In particular, women have also started to use drugs and are an alarming situation for the future of the state. Keeping this in mind, the all-girls rally was organized and to disseminate awareness about the ill effects of Drug Abuse.
