Imphal, Dec 7: A team from the Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) led by the Chairperson went for a spot enquiry into the dead of a minor girl by
hanging under Lamphel Police Station. The team met the bereaved family, relatives and neighbors of the deceased child.
This Commission viewed this unfortunate incident a seriousnegligence of Child care. The Commission has asked from the police department to submit a Status Report regarding the case.
