Board of Governors of Medical Council of India (MCI) has permitted Regional Institute Of Medical Sciences (RIMS) to start MD, Sports Medicine from this year academic session, 2020-2021. It may be mention that RIMS is among the first few institute in the country to offer such course in Sports Medicine. In this regard, Director of RIMS Prof A. Santa said “The Course will greatly benefit the states of NE India especially Manipur as it is a Sports Powerhouse of the country.”
