Imphal, April 2:

The Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) persisted in their mass awareness campaign titled “Vote for National Regeneration,” with a significant event held today at Thongkhong Laxmi Bazar, drawing participation from local residents.
This initiative by MAYOL commenced its journey from Khwairamband Keithel on March 24 for the 2nd Time. The campaign aims to streamline electoral politics in the state and assist citizens in selecting the most suitable representatives ahead of the Lok Sabha election.
During the launch event, MAYOL distributed leaflets containing messages urging citizens to exercise their voting rights responsibly. Messages such as “Let’s become responsible citizens,” “Let’s not sell our rights for cash votes,” and “Let’s choose deserving candidates” were prominently displayed. Additionally, the campaign emphasized the importance of good governance, community welfare, and the positive impact of righteous politics on society’s future.
MAYOL’s efforts underscore the importance of citizen engagement in the electoral process and the role of informed voting decisions in shaping the political landscape of Manipur. As the campaign gains momentum, it seeks to empower voters to make informed choices and contribute to the betterment of their community and society as a whole.
