In a press statement, Comrade Nonglen Meitei, Secretary Publicity and Propaganda of Maoist Communist Party, said that after the authority of the Little Flower School, St. Joshep School, Christ Jyoti School and Catholics School Canchipur had assured to maintain the secular structures in the school, the party had announced to lift all forms of restriction or prohibitions to these schools. However the directives of the party has been not considered by Nirmalabas School, Thangal bazaar, but as of now the party has not issued any dictate for closure of the school, the Maoist statement added. It further said that if the Nirmalabas School Authority failed to follow with what the party has suggested within five days, the party will take it seriously.
The statement further continued that the outfit will not lift the ban imposed against the two CBSE schools namely Little Rose Higher Secondary School and MM Higher Secondary School. It added that the outfit will never forgive the two schools in order to show that commercialization of education is not allowed in the state. The decision of the outfit will remain unchanged even though the two schools make publicity through newspaper or the authority of the schools give big sum of money to the outfit. It appealed to the students not to enroll in these two schools. The two schools should take the responsibility of ruining the educational career of 2500 students due to failure of issuing admit cards to the students.
