Maoist Communist Party, Manipur greets the people of the state on the completion of 66th year of Revolutionary movement in the state.A press statement released by Comrade Nonglen Meitei, Secretary Publicity and Propaganda, Maoist Communist Party said that revolutionary movement in began in Manipur on 21st September 66 years ago under the leadership of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot against India government’s policy to annex Manipur.The statement further said that 21st September, 2014 is also the second anniversary of New People’s Militia, the armed wing of Maoist Communist Party which was formed on the same day of 2012. The same day is the 10th anniversary of Indian Maoist popularly known as Communist Party of India (Maoist).
