Imphal, May 5: Proscribed group Maoist Communist Party, Manipur has claimed bomb attack at Route 39 Restaurant, Mantripukhri, Imphal East on the night of May 3 at around 7 PM.
In a release, Maoist said that the restaurant is a government sponsored marketing center for drug mafia gang in the state.
The outfit carried out the blast as they receive complains from many social organizations about the publicly known drug marketing hub.
Astonishingly in an effort to conceal the incident, the police covered about the bomb attack and maintained the sound of bomb explosion as tyre blast.
The MCPM statement further added that the relatives and near and dear one of the present Chief Minister known as one O Henery has been charged sheeted for his involvement in the multi core drug smuglling scam. The then SIT established by the government was also abolished following the siezure of the large scale drug. People of the state had also witness the police picking up a relative of the present President of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee. The MPCM further added the outfit will continue to strike to anti -social element or drug mafia to save the people.
