Many condoled demise of Parijat

Various organizations condoled the demise of veteran politician and senior leader of Communist Party of India, (CPI), Pheiroijam Parijat.
In his condolence message Dr. M. Nara, Secretary of CPI Manipur Council said that the demise of Parijat is a big loss, not only for Manipur but also for the country and those who love communist movement. He was a true communist and he had revolutionary spirit since childhood. He tried to impart Marxism ideology. He took the CPI membership in 1965. He took part in many communists’ conventions and movements across the world.
CPI Manipur Council, Manipur Democratic Front and many other organizations also condoled his demise.
Parijat (72), the former Health and Family Welfare Minister of the state, passed away on the 6th of March, 2015, at his residence located at Nongada, Imphal East.
