A day after JCILP turn down government invitation, celebrity members of the Maniwood sports club and Cine Actors’ Guild and Keithel lady Kwairamband Keithel today intensify the demand for introduction of Inner Line Permit System .Women of the Kwairamband Keithel under the aegis of the Kwairamband Keithel Semgat Sagat Lup and Nupi Keithel Singpham amadi Saktam Kanba Lup today organised a protest meeting at Kwairamband Ima keithel No.1 demanding implementation of ILP.The protest meeting was graced by Ibotmbi Khuman, Convenor, JCILPS, Somerendro Thokchom, Co-convenor, JCILP, K. Landon, Executive member, Moirangthem Ongbi Bidhu, President, Nupi Keithel Semgat Sagat Lup and Yumnam Ongbi Ibempishak, Toijam Ongbi Ibeyaima and Thingujam Ongbi Kunjalata of Nupi Keithel Sinpham and Saktam Kanba Lup.The protest meeting resolved to impose restriction to the non –locals inside the Kwairamband Keithel area who do not possess proper verification documents.Meanwhile, actors, directors and film makers of Manipuri Film today stage a protest demonstration for introduction of ILP at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai. Renown film actor, Kaiku, Bokul, Boney, Deny, Raju, Bala, Devita, Guna etc were seen in the protest.
