India Today group has once more adjudged Manipur government as the most improved state (overall and law and order) in the small state category.
Group Editorial Director — Publishing, Raj Chengappa of the India Today Group has invited Chief Minister N. Biren Singh to the India Today e-State of the States Conclave 2020.
The annual INDIA TODAY “The State of the States” study is an attempt to find out which of India’s states offers its citizens the best opportunities, both at work and outside. The study tracks each state’s performance over time and, in particular, records the changes over the last five years. It takes into account both the business environment and the quality of life. The categories on which the states are judged include economy, agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure, inclusive development, law and order, governance, entrepreneurship, environment and cleanliness. Its objectivity and scope have made this study the gold standard for the health of Indian states.
“We now have this year’s results of the India Today Group’s ranking of states with us. I am pleased to inform you that Manipur has been adjudged the Most improved small state Overall & Law and Order”, a communication to the CMO said by Raj Chengappa said.
As the country is grappling with the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s conclave is being held in virtual format. The trophy of the state will be dispatched by the bureau of India Today at the Chief Minister’s office soon.
