Manipur gets new PF office EPFO comes closer to its members in NE

Along with four other North Eastern states, the Employees Provident Fund Organisation has upgraded the District Office / Services Centre in Imphal to special state offices.
With this EPFO has taken the first step toward knocking at the doorsteps of its members in the North-Eastern States. The Special State Offices located at Imphal, Gangtok, Aizwal, Itanagar and Dimapur shall be headed by an Assistant P.F. Commissioner level officer and would have an Enforcement Officer and other supporting staff.
The special state offices would focus on special work like Compliance Monitoring, Grievance handling, Claims scanning and Forwarding etc. This shall be of great assistance and convenience to the EPF members belonging to the states of Manipur, Sikkim, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland for availing EPF – related services.
