The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has announced a Tiranga Rally to be held in Imphal in a show of solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces engaged in Operation Sindoor. The announcement was made during a press conference at Congress Bhavan in Imphal today, led by N. Bupenda Meitei, AICC Member and Senior Spokesperson, alongside Senior Vice President Vidyapati Senjam and Vice President Hareshwar Goshwami.
Addressing the media, N. Bupenda Meitei expressed the party’s unwavering support for the armed forces, stating that the Tiranga Yatra is a patriotic gesture to honour their valour and sacrifices. He said the Congress party in Manipur stands firmly with the nation in the face of external aggression, especially at a time when India’s defence forces are responding to threats with strength and resolve under Operation Sindoor.
The rally, scheduled for tomorrow, is expected to witness participation from party workers and citizens, waving the national flag as a tribute to the unity and resilience of the nation. The MPCC leadership also urged the public to join the yatra in large numbers and reaffirm their commitment to India’s sovereignty and armed forces.
