Imphal, Jan. 27: NG Tomba (25) s/o Shiraz Ahmed of Mayang Imphal Irong Palli Bazar Makha Leikai was shot at yesterday around 9.30 pm by unidentified assailants using a double barrel gun. The incident happened when the victim was at the gate of his residence. He sustained injuries on his left knee. Though the motive of the assailants was not known, it is believed that the attack is in relation with the forthcoming state election.
