Manipur Amateur Karate-Do Association (MAKA) has condemned the stopping of train and pulling out of Manipuri passengers by Jan Adhikar Party leader Pappu Yadav and his followers at various Railway Stations in Bihar.
In a release, MAKA said that giving harassment to travelers from Manipur is a total inhuman and anti-social act provoking communal tension. Such an inhuman act of Pappu Yadav affect the people of Manipur especially sports person who are travelling across the country for participating in National Level Competitions and camps. A team consisting of 32 Karatekas including eleven officials shall be leaving on September 13 for Delhi to participate in the Kai Sub-junior National Karate Championship and 8th Common Wealth Karate Championship being held at Talkatora Indoor stadium, New Delhi. Any untoward happening during the train journey along the Bihar and UP states shall be responsible by Pappu Yadav as well as the government of Manipur, said MAKA.
MAKA also urged the Bihari brethren and the government of Manipur to inform the state of Bihar that no harassment are being done to any Bihari migrant workers or business community in Manipur.
