MACR urges to launch online portal

Manipur Alliance for Child Rights (MACR) demanded the government to give priority in budgeting of child and gender and to launch the online portal track child system of the state.Addressing a press conference today at Manipur Press club, Imphal, Convenor, MACR, Keisham Pradipkumar said that there are various children missing in many villages of the state according to a survey conducted in the last two years. Pradipkumar further said that the state should launch an online portal child track so that the missing children could be easily traced. He added according to state budget the share of child and gender budget is very less comparing to the budget share of police administration. He further added the Integrated Child Development Scheme is totally defunct and the department of Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Right is not commissioned and survived for namesake.
