General Observer of II- Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency Ujjwal Kumar, IAS visited Senapati district today in connection with the ensuing General Election to Lok Sabha 2024.
The General Observer took stock of the poll preparation for Lok Sabha 2024 election in the district and visited three polling stations at Katomei, Taphou Pudunamei and Taphou Naga.
At the Mini Secretariat Complex, the observer conducted on the spot inspection of the Strong rooms. Later, he also visited the ongoing second round of training for polling personnel at Multi- Purpose Hall opposite to Mini Secretariat, Senapati and instructed the trainee to learn thoroughly and get familiarize with EVM and VVPAT so that no mistake will be face on the polling day. He also asked the trainees to take utmost care in handling voting equipments for smooth conduct of voting process.
During his visit, he was accompanied by Mamoni Doley, IAS DEO/DC, Senapati, Anupam, IPS, SP, Senapati, and ARO’s.
