LOUSAL conducts swearing-in ceremony for new executive body

The Loumee Shinmee Apun Lup (LOUSAL) held the swearing-in ceremony for its newly elected executive members for the term 2026–2029 today at Sanamahi Kiyong, located at Selloi Langmai Ching in Imphal East district.

Dr. Keisham Bheigyachandra, Chief Advisor and former President of LOUSAL, administered the oath of office to the incoming executive members before the altar of Lord Lainingthou Sanamahi. Following the oath-taking ceremony, official files and responsibilities were formally handed over to the incoming President.

Under the new committee, Pukhrambam Inaobi has been appointed as the President, while Khudam Ronex will serve as the Secretary General. A total of 23 members were sworn in to hold various posts and serve as executive members of the organization.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, newly appointed LOUSAL President Pukhrambam Inaobi stated that the organization is fully prepared to closely monitor government departments related to agriculture and work to the best of its ability toward achieving food self-sufficiency in the region.

He further highlighted that workers are currently facing suppression and hardship under the present administration.
