Loktak Waterbird census- 2018 and Motivation Camp commenced

Imphal, Jan. 16: The two-day Programme is being organised by Wildlife wing- Department of Forest Govt. Of Manipur in association with India Bird Conservation Network (IBCN) Manipur with the support of Social Reformation and Sangai Protection Forum (SRSPF), Pole Star Guardian Association, Toubul Youth Development Association, Unique Wildlife Protection Committee, Global Science Club, Kumam Youth Club and Gandhi Memorial Club. K. Jugeshwor Singh- Principal of Kumbi College and Honorary Wildlife warden Bishunpur, Chief Conservator of Forest IFS Wildlife Anurag Bajpai and in-charge Deputy Chief Conservator of Forest park and sanctuary E. Nirmala were present as presidium members at the opening function today. More than 100 people from different parts of the periphery of Loktak are participating in the two-day Motivation Camp being held at keibul lamjao National Park 2nd IB hall from today.
