The election campaign for Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF) candidate Kachui Timothy Zimik, supported by the BJP, has rapidly expanded its reach from South (Chandel district) to North (Ukhrul district) within a span of just 48 hours. The campaign is witnessing a surge in momentum, with prominent BJP leaders actively joining and spearheading the efforts.
The swift expansion of the campaign highlights the concerted efforts of the NPF-BJP alliance to cover a wide geographic area and engage with voters across different districts. The presence of BJP leaders further amplifies the campaign’s visibility and underscores the alliance’s unity and strength.
As the campaign gains momentum, it signals growing support and enthusiasm for the NPF-BJP alliance and its candidate, Kachui Timothy Zimik. With BJP leaders actively participating in the campaign, the alliance is poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming elections.
In his campaign for the 18th Lok Sabha Election at Chandel, Zimik emphasized the importance of collective effort in achieving victory. He acknowledged the support extended by key political figures, including the Chief Minister of Manipur, N. Biren Singh, and the Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Eno Y. Patton. Their backing, along with that of other esteemed leaders, underscores the unity within the NPF/NDA alliance. Zimik’s speech also resonated with the promises made by Deputy Chief Minister Patton and Nagaland Tourism Minister Temjen Imna Along, who voiced their unequivocal support for Zimik’s candidacy. Patton highlighted the unified front presented by Nagaland’s 60 MLAs in endorsing Zimik, urging the people of Manipur to rally behind the NPF/NDA alliance.
Along with echoed this sentiment, criticizing the Congress party’s track record while affirming the BJP’s commitment to progress, development, and peace in the region. Addressing critical issues facing Manipur, Zimik emphasized the importance of peace and development. He stressed the need for collective efforts to address communal tensions and foster inclusive growth. Additionally, Zimik pledged to prioritize infrastructure development and connectivity, particularly in Chandel and Tengnoupal, as gateways to the Act East Policy.
In Ukhrul district today, BJP Manipur Pradesh Senior Spokesperson M Asnikumar Singh reaffirmed the party’s commitment to development and inclusive growth, contrasting it with what he termed as the divisive and communal agenda of the Congress party. The rally, organized in enthusiastic support of NDA candidate Timothy Zimik of NPF, drew an overwhelming turnout, reflecting the collective aspirations of the people of Ukhrul.
Expressing gratitude to the residents of Ukhrul and acknowledging the tireless efforts of BJP and its NDA ally, NPF, Asnikumar Singh emphasized the party’s dedication to empowering every citizen of Ukhrul and Manipur. He highlighted BJP’s focus on fostering inclusive growth, nurturing youth entrepreneurship, and championing women’s aspirations.
Amidst unrest and violence, Asnikumar Singh emphasized the enduring unity among Nagas, Meiteis, and other tribes, advocating for BJP and its allies as the forefront solution providers. He urged unwavering support for NDA candidate Timothy Zimik, envisioning a future characterized by progress, development, and unity.
Confident in BJP’s electoral prospects, Asnikumar Singh predicted a significant victory in the upcoming elections, expressing belief in Prime Minister Narendra Modi securing his third term. With collective support and determination, he envisioned a prosperous and inclusive future for the people of Ukhrul and Manipur under BJP leadership.
