Volunteers of Micro Meira Paibi, Toubul seized 65 liters of local liquors from Toubul Kabui Khul area.Sources said that the liquors were seized by the volunteers of the Meira Paibi Lup while some traders tried to transport it to the market.Th. Gunabati, secretary of Micro Meira Paibi, Toubul said that the Meira Paibi Lup has banned any kind of drugs and intoxicating items in around Toubul area. She also appeals to respect the restrictions of the Meira Paibi Lup by the neighbouring villages. She further said that there is no harm to other community if Toubul Kabui Khul distills liquor as their customary. However, it is not a good step to distill liquor for commercial purposes in the name of custom.
